Ishita Malaviya, ambassadrice Hoalen et son compagnon Tushar ont créé à la fin de leurs études supérieures le Shaka Surf Club, il y a un peu plus de huit ans. Leur surf camp a élu domicile dans la petite bourgade de Kodi Bengare, entre l'océan et la rivière, à une petite heure de la ville étudiante Manipal, le long de la côte Ouest de l'Inde. Ishita & Tushar font partie des premiers indiens à developper le surf en Inde en proposant des séjours avec cours de surf, logement en tente et pension complète.

Their surfing camp is settled on the skinny sand bar that defines the lagoon at Kodi Bengare, an hour driving from the university town of Manipal, along the west coast of India. Ishita and Tushar are real pioneers in the surf development in India. They run surf lessons, rent surfboards and provide accommodation under tents.

Ishita and Tushar have successfully gained the locals support through the involvement of nearby families who prepare the guests meals, through the surf initiation they offer to all locals and especially kids.
